Wilson would not let Wm Baettie & the rest of them into mill till Dawson came. Ploughmans ball at School tonight a fine day. 20th Mrs Shearer & al her family at Church... Adam wife & family left tonight & stayed at Reids 28th... Wilson driving Mrs Shearer & family away. Wm Rattray up a BM ewe to Mrs Souter 29th ... a right fine day like summer 30th...no sign of my man coming he is a perfect swick. Dod & Jack Gordon had Charlie horse & my cart away with a load of Shearers peats December 1st Lizzie to Cottage p.m. ...sorted own beasts & wilsons he to Rhynie & got chaff off shilts eye with farrier. Telegramed to J. Black he not coming 3rd ... to Rhynie in gig seeing about getting a man did not succeed 5th John Robson here p.m. gave Wm Wilson loan of £2”5 .
