Saw Lizzie at Howtown she off & left her bairns with me 31st Adam & I cleaning cattle for cary & ringworm November 2nd A fearful rain waters so big I could not get to Dufftown sales... I paid John Souter for ram £1”15 thrashed him at draughts tonight. 3rd Adam & I at ditches girl gathering rashes 11th ... I paid Bridget her wagws & let her away.
